Greater Swiss Mountain Dog

This big massive dog from Switzerland is well muscled. Its members are powerful, its tail is long and heavy and its head is quite large. Its hair is tight, dense and shiny. The coat is a tricolor: black all over the body, white on the chest and part of the skull, and fawn on the limbs and head. An occasional brush will do! This is a very good watchdog, courageous and responsive, and it is so far not aggressive. Loving and loyal, it gets along well with the whole family.
