Turkish Van

From Turkey (hence its name), this is a big cat with massive musculature. Its hair is medium to long, silky and shiny, and its fur is supplied in winter. Outside the summer moult, maintenance requires only weekly brushing.
Rustic and robust, it is very lively and loves water. Sociable with other cats, it is very affectionate with his master, sometimes possessive. It is an excellent companion that will fit apartment living, even if a large garden with a pool would suit him better!
