How to join a team

I'm trying to join the "Born in the USA" team as I was invited to when I signed up for yummypets but I clicked on the link to go to it and it just pops up and says its private and I can't do anything. I was wondering how do you request to join the team especially since I was invited to join and I live in the USA? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Hi Tina! 🙂 To join the team, there is a button labeled "Become a member". If you cannot see it, can you please let me know if you are using a phone or a computer? I would be happy to help you join the team! Have a great day!
