Why does my JRT always aim for my bum when he gets excited?

Scraggy has recently taken to nipping my bum whenever someone knocks the front door. This behaviour is not normal for him as he is normally such a placid loving boy,

    I am not completely sure of why he is aiming at your bum but my JRT does the same but without biting when she wants to be picked up or go for a car ride. Try to pick him up and petting him.
