Maltese with lemon/beige colors ?

Hey guys,

So I have a new dog, which is a Maltese. But I am concerned about the color of his fur since it is stated that most of the Maltese have a full white coat with some exceptions for the ears that may have a lemon color which is not preferred. My buddy's ears and part of his body are of a lemon color. Following is a youtube link where you can see him but I think the body color is not so noticeable. So I hope you give me your opinion and let me know if there is a possibility that it is not a pure breed. Thank you
